CHECK LIST - BEFORE STARTING A NEW DIGGER

Check bolts for tightness with a wrench.

Check auger for interference.
|
Check that all hitch pins are in place and secured.
|
Check that driveline is secured to tractor PTO and gearbox
|
Check driveline length.
|
Check that all shields are in place and operable.
TO ADJUST THE RELIEF VALVE
Remove the adjustment cap and loosen the
locknut using a 1/2" wrench. Use a 3/16"
allen wrench to adjust the pressure setting.
Turn allen wrench counter clockwise to re-
duce the pressure and clockwise to increase
pressure. BELLTEC recommends that the re-
lief pressure be adjusted to the minimum PSI
setting that will accomplish the digging
task to be performed.
Be sure that the pressure is adjusted
low enough that the tractor wheels will not be lifted from the
ground when down pressure is applied to the auger
.
NEVER EXCEED 1500 PSI.
