  9. Before initial use, charge the HANDSET for 12 hours.

 BellSouth Cordless Telephone.

Getting Started

Press the   TALK   button to confirm that
you have a dial tone. If you do not get a
dial tone, review steps 3 through 8. If
you still have no dial tone, refer to the
Problem Solving section on page 21.
