7.10  OC-3/12 or STM-1/4 Cabling 

The ATM Network Access and Packet Network Access modules provide 
the terminations for one to four optical ports.  Each module terminates 
OC-3/12 or STM-1/4 ports with an input and output optical SC connector 
for each port.  The module OC/STM connectors with fiber cables attached 
are shown in 

Figure 7-26.  

An illustration of a single mode fiber optic 

cable with duplex SC connectors is shown in
