GENERAL USE
Operating
The watch starts working when the battery is inserted.
Use of the crown
All functions and adjustments are accessible using the crown.
> 3 positions
> 2 rotation speeds
Slow or quick depending on display to be changed (example: in “time-set” position, quick
rotation is used to change hours. Slow rotation is used to change minutes).
note
difference between the 2 rotation speeds is not easy to manage. For the “sharp”
or “short” movement, several attempts will be required before getting used to the
movement required.
Selection of functions
Turn the crown clockwise to successively access the following functions in sequential order:
note
Turn the crown anticlockwise to scroll through the functions in reverse sequential order.
SETTING AND CONTROL OF FUNCTIONS
Display in 12h or 24h mode
1. select the “second time zone” by turning the crown until the “T2” symbol is displayed.
2. press the crown once > Mode is displayed for 2 seconds:
. if the letter “A” or “P” appears, time is displayed in 12h mode: 8 o’clock in the morning is
displayed 8.00 A, 8 o’clock in the evening is displayed 8.00 P.
. if the letter “A” or “P” does not appear, time is displayed in 24h mode: 8 o’clock in the
morning is displayed 8.00, 8 o’clock in the evening is displayed 20.00.
3. press the crown twice to move from one display mode to the other.
Synchronisation of analogue display with digital display
N.B.
After changing the battery, time indicated by the hands (analogue time) must be synchro-
nised with time indicated by the figures on the dial (digital time).
1. delete the digital display by turning the crown to the corresponding position.
2. pull out the crown > the symbol “R” appears. The index “P” appears to the right of the
hours when the “12h mode” is selected (see paragraph on “display in 12h or 24h mode”).
3. to synchronise analogue time with digital time, turn the crown forwards or backwards
until the hands indicate exactly the time on the digital display: a quick rotation (“sharp”
movement) is used to change hours. Slow rotation is used to change minutes.
4. push the crown back into neutral position.
Setting analogue and digital time
N.B.
After synchronisation of analogue display with digital display (see previous paragraph),
setting of the time corresponds to setting of analogue time as adjusted to digital time.
When time is set, the user therefore takes action simultaneously on both analogue and
digital display.
1. display time in “24h”mode (see paragraph “Display in 12h or 24h mode”).
2. select the function “digital time” function by turning the crown to the corresponding
position.
3. pull out the crown > figures for hours and minutes flash, and the symbol “T” appears.
4. to set the time, turn the crown forwards or backwards: a quick rotation (“sharp” move-
ment) is used to change hours. Slow rotation is used to change minutes.
5. push the crown back into neutral position.
6. if wanted, return to “12h mode” display (see paragraph on “Display in 12h or 24h mode”).
Use of the alarm
1. select the “alarm” function by turning the crown until the “AL” symbol is displayed.
2. pull the crown out: the figures flash.
3. turn the crown forwards or backwards to display the time at which the alarm is required:
a quick rotation (“sharp” movement) is used to change hours. A slow rotation is used to
change minutes.
