Buffer Edit Mode

The Serial Adapter stores the most recent eight pages of data from the attached 
ASCII device in a circular buffer. You can edit the data in the buffer (see Figure 5).

After you switch the Serial Adapter from Online Mode to Buffer Edit Mode by 
pressing [Alt] + [F4], you can review the contents of the buffer by moving the cursor 
with the arrow keys—[PageUp], [PageDown], [Home], and [End]. You can also edit 
the data in the buffer with [Insert], [Delete], [Backspace], and the other keys listed 
in the Help screen.
