Chapter 2 - Installation

2.3  Mounting a large studio lens

Note

 

When a viewfinder support (for CRT viewfinders) is mounted, slide back the support towards 
the front of the Reflex SuperXpander.

To mount the lens onto the Reflex SuperXpander, proceed as follows:

1.

When the camera is already mounted (in transport position) remove the lens cap before 
proceeding.

2.

Hook the lens onto the support rail ensuring that the upper lens pin fits into the slot in the 
support rail.

3.

Swing the lens downwards so that the lower lens pin fits into the hole in the front of the 
Reflex SuperXpander.

4.

Turn the lens locking handle clockwise to secure the lens in place.

5.

If a zoom control is used, attach the zoom control cable to the lens.

When the SuperXpander is used with an ENG type lens, set the lens connector to
