Protect, Flash and Timeouts Pane
This pane includes button options for enabling/disabling Protect , Flash , and various panel
timeout functions and settings.

Protect Options
Tab. 5-11: Protect Option Items
Item Description
Enable (All Modes) Check box.
Select to enable a ‘destination protect’ function facility
and add a
Protect button to the panel.
Destination Protect function.

LCD panel:
• To protect a destination from being routed,

select the (unprotected) destination and press Protect .
• To remove a ‘Protect’ on a destination,

select the protected destination and press Protect .
LED panel:
• To protect a destination from being routed,

press Protect and select the (unprotected) destination.
• To remove a ‘Protect’ on a destination,

and press Protect and select the protected destination.
Note: If the Enable (All Modes) check box is
subsequently deselected, the Protect button
disappears from the panel and any previously-protected
destinations can only be re-routed again
after the
Enable (All Modes) check box is selected again and any
destinations are unprotected.
