Safety i nstruct i ons
t
Before d i spos i ng of old products that
shall not be used any more:
1. Unplug the power cord from the mains socket.
2. Cut the power cord and remove it from the
appliance together with the plug.
3. Do not remove the racks and drawers from the
product to prevent children from getting inside the
appliance.
4. Remove the doors.
5. Store the product so that it shall not be tipped over.
6. Do not allow children to play with the scrapped
product.
t Do not dispose of the product by throwing it
into fire. Risk of explosion.
t If there is a lock available in the product’s door,
keep the key out of children’s reach.
1.3 Electrical safety
t
The product shall not be plugged
i nto the outlet dur i ng i nstallat i on,
ma i ntenance, clean i ng, repa i r, and
transportat i on operat i ons.
t
If the power the cord i s damaged,
i t shall be replaced by author i zed
serv i ce only to avo i d any r i sk that
may occur.
t
Do not tuck the power cord under the
product or to the rear of the product.
Do not put heavy i tems on the power
cord. The power cord should not be
bent, crushed, and come i nto contact
w i th any heat source.
t
Do not use an extens i on cord, mult i -
plug or adaptor to operate your
product.
t
Portable mult i sockets or portable
power suppl i es may overheat and
cause f i re. Thus, do not have a mult i -
plug beh i nd or i n the v i c i n i ty of the
product.
t
The plug shall be eas i ly access i ble.
If th i s i s not poss i ble, a mechan i sm
that meets the electr i cal leg i slat i on
and that d i sconnects all term i nals
from the ma i ns (fuse, sw i tch, ma i n
sw i tch, etc.) shall be ava i lable on the
electr i cal i nstallat i on.

Do not touch the plug w i th wet
hands.

When unplugg i ng the appl i ance, don’t
hold the power cord, but the plug.
1.4 Handling Safety

by yourself.

Do not hold the product from i ts door
wh i le handl i ng the product.

Be careful not to damage the cool i ng
system and the p i pes wh i le handl i ng
the product. Do not operate the
product i f the p i pes are damaged, and
contact an author i zed serv i ce.
1.5 Installation Safety

Contact the Author i zed Serv i ce
for the product’s i nstallat i on. To
prepare the product for i nstallat i on,
see the i nformat i on i n the user
gu i de and make sure the electr i c
and water ut i l i t i es are as requ i red.
If the i nstallat i on i s not su i table, call
a qual i f i ed electr i c i an and plumber
to have them make the necessary
arrangements. Otherw i se, electr i c
shock, f i re, i ssues w i th the product or
i njur i es may occur.

Check for any damage on the product
before i nstall i ng i t. Do not have the
product i nstalled i f i t i s damaged.

Place the product on a level and
hard surface and balance w i th the
adjustable legs. Otherw i se, the
refr i gerator may t i p over and cause
i njur i es.

The product shall be i nstalled i n a
dry and vent i lated env i ronment.
Do not keep carpets, rugs or s i m i lar
floor covers under the product. Th i s
may cause r i sk of f i re as a result of
i nadequate vent i lat i on!
