4.1 Cleaning
1. Turn off and unplug the appliance
before cleaning.
2. Wait for the appliance to cool
down completely.
3. Use a slightly damp cloth to
clean the outer surface of the
appliance. Then wait until it dries
out completely.
4. Wipe the sediments and residues
on the soleplate with a slightly
damp cloth and soft, nonabrasive
liquid cleaner as necessary.

When
you finished ironing,
unplug the applian-
ce. You can drain the
water in the reservoir
by opening the water
refill lid (6) and tilting
the iron to the front.

Do not
use gasoline, solvent
and abrasive clea-
ning agents or hard
brush to clean the
appliance.
4.2 Lime removing
feature (Self-Clean)
It minimizes the lime particles
accumulated in the steam generator
reservoir of your appliance.
Use the self-clean feature once in
every 2 to 3 weeks. If the tap wa-
ter is very hard (if lime particles fall
down from the soleplate of the app-
liance), use the self-clean function
more frequently.
1. Unplug the appliance.
2. Refill the appliance with water
(see. 3.3).
3.Set the steam setting knob (7) to
the “ ” position.
4. Plug in the appliance and set
the temperature adjustment dial
(3) to max. position by turning it
in the clockwise direction.
5. When the thermostat indicator
light (10) turns off, unplug the
appliance.
6. Keep the iron in a horizontal
position over the sink, pull
the lime removing knob (7)
backwards, hold at self-clean "
" position and shake. Continue
until the water in the reservoir is
depleted.
