Setting and Storing Data in Memory
The unit can be operated if at least one slot has been programmed into the personal
data memory.
1. Power On
Press any button the turn on the unit. Upon confirming activation the personal data
number last used will appear promptly.
2. Setting weighting scale
Use the selector switch on the bottom to select a weighing scale – be it the metric
system (kg), pounds (lb) or stone (st).
3. Select Personal Data
First, press the SET button. The number of Personal Data starts flashing on the display.
Use the arrow buttons to select the preferred Personal Data. To confirm, press the SET
button again. The next flashing symbol on the screen refers to the selection of sex.
4. Selection of sex
Use the arrow buttons to select male or female. To confirm, press the SET button again.
The next flashing on the screen leads to the selection if height.
5. Setting height
Use the arrow buttons to select your height. To confirm, press the SET button again.
The next flashing on the screen leads to the selection if age. (Possible height ranges from
100cm to 220cm.)
6. Setting age
Use the arrow buttons to select your age. To confirm, press the SET button again. (The
figure must be between 10-80 years.)
Note: If you make a mistake or if any of your personal data changes, simply edit the set
data going through this method.
Measuring
After setting your personal data, you are ready to take a measurement.
Startup, Personal Data Slot Selection
If you intend to measure your weight only, it is enough to gently tap on the glass with
your foot in order to turn on the scale. Wait till the display shows „0.0” signaling that
you can step on the platform to start the weighing process.
In case you wish to perform an all round evaluation, press the UP button to turn on the
device. Use the arrow buttons to select your personal data code. The data previously set
will appear on the display. To confirm, press SET, then wait until the display shows
„0.0”. „0.0” signals that you can step on the platform.
Note: Step on the platform barefoot in order to ensure accuracy. Make sure your heels
and toes are properly contacting the electrodes. If you step onto the platform before
„0.0” appears, you will not obtain a reading. Furthermore, if you do not step onto the
platform within about 10 seconds after „0.0” appears, the power will shut down
automatically.
Get Your Reading
After you weight is being shown first, stay on the platform. „0000” will appear on the
display now – then disappear step-by-step until the rest of the data is measured. Next to
appear are your body fat and hydration percentages. The numbers will be shown
alternately four times before the display turns off.
