Note:
The blades are very sharp. Please keep them away from
children, and always use the guard when working with
this device.
• This product is primarily intended for non-commercial
use, for chopping and grating foods such as cucum-
bers, carrots, cabbage, tomatoes, cheese, fruit, pota-
toes, etc.
• Before using it for the first time, remove any pa
-
ckaging material and stickers. Rinse the product with
hot water and dry it well.
Using the Hobel-FiXX
1. Food processor with a fixed blade for cutting slices of
various thicknesses
2. Clip lock with a locking lever on the underside
3. Slide unit for the chopping function
4. Grater attachment
5. Protective casing for the grater attachment
6. Guard to protect fingers and fingernails
7. Container for catching or storing grated foods
8. Lid for the storage container
Chopping:
• Set the desired thickness for the food to be chopped:
turn the small wheel on the food-processor handle
toward “+” for thicker slices or “-” for thinner slices
(see Ill. 1.1).
• Place the grater on the container. The grater handle
will fit exactly into the opening of the container.
• Hold the food in place with the spikes on the food guard.
• Draw the food across the blade. Be sure to follow the
direction of the arrow on the guard (see Ill. 6.1).
Grating:
• First, remove the triangular slide unit for the chopping
function. To do so, move the locking lever on the
underside of the grater toward the handle. The clip-
lock will release, and the slide unit will spring out.
• Take the grater attachment out of its protective
casing.
• Push the grater attachment onto the clip-lock until
you hear a click.
• Set the grating thickness using the small wheel on the
food-processor handle, as described above.
• Place the grater on the container.
• Hold the food in place with the spikes on the food
guard.
• Draw the food across the grater attachment. Be sure
to follow the direction of the arrow on the guard (see
Ill. 6.1).
Cleaning
• All of the parts are dishwasher safe.
• Let the parts dry well before you put the food proces

sor away.
