Placing the permanent filter
Place the permanent filter (10) in the
grinder (11).
Please observe the marking on the
outside of the grinder.
Turn the permanent filter counter-
clockwise until locked.
Placing the grinder
Place the grinder (11) in the filter
compartment (8).Please observe
the marking when opening the filter
compartment: The marking points to
unlatched lock.
Press the grinder down slightly and turn clockwise at the same
time until locking into place. The marking now points to the
bolted lock.
Close the lid (1) of the filter compartment.
NOTE
Ensure a correct sit of the permanent filter and of the

grinder. If the permanent filter and/or grinder are placed
in the wrong way and if the lid of the filter compartment is
closed in this position, the ground coffee may block the
water flow. The filter compartment may overflow.

starts flashing the display, if the filter compartment has
not been closed properly, and

starts flashing when the
permanent filter has not been fitted correctly. The unit can
be operated only with a correctly fitted permanent filter and
when the lid of the filter compartment has been closed.
