Safety equipment
A safety switch is located on the underside
of the pedestal. The appliance then switches
itself off automatically if it is tipped or falls
over.
1. For this reason, always place the appli-
ance on a firm and even surface so that the
safety switch is in contact with the surface.
2. Switch on the device.
To check the function of the safety switch,
proceed as follows:
1. Lift the pedestal of the appliance slightly
so that there is no contact to the surface. The
safety equipment switches off the appliance.
2. Put the appliance back onto a firm, flat
surface and switch it on manually.
NOTE
► If the safety equipment switched off
the appliance, it does not NOT switch on
again automatically. It must be switched on
manually .
Operation and use
Switching the appliance on/off
To switch off the appliance, proceed as follows:
1. Move the main ON/OFF switch on the
pedestal to the “ I ” position.
2. Press the button on the operating
panel. The blue indicator lamp lights up.
3. To switch off the appliance, press the
button again. The blue indicator lamp extin-
guishes.
4. Move the main ON/OFF switch (4) on the
pedestal to the „ 0 ” position.
Setting the air flow
Continuous setting of the air flow takes place
via the regulator button on the operating
panel (6).
1. Turn the regulator clockwise to set a
stronger air flow.
2. Turn the regulator anticlockwise to set a
weaker air flow.
Rotating movement ON/OFF switch
Switching the rotating movement on and off
takes place via the button on the operat-
ing panel (6).
Directing the air flow
The direction of the airflow is set via the incli -
nation adjustment on the foot (3).
NOTE
► Only direct the airflow when the rotating
movement is switched off.
► Carefully tilt the unit up to stop maxi-
mum in order to avoid damaging the unit.
1. Hold the foot tight with one hand.
2. Change the inclination of the appliance
with the other hand until the desired airflow
angle has been set.
