NOTICES
•
Only connect the device to a socket with safety contacts that is properly installed and
matches the technical data of the device. The socket must also be readily accessible
after connection so that the connection to the mains can quickly be isolated.
•
Do not
fi
ll the milk container if it is positioned in the base station! Remove the milk
container from the base station to
fi
ll it.
•
Fill the milk container at least up to the
MIN
marking. Never use it without milk or with
less milk than this!
•
Never use the milk container without the lid. Hot milk could spray out during froth-
ing and heating.
When the device is
fi
rst used, production-related additives (e. g. grease) may cause a
small amount of smoke and / or an odour to be produced. This is normal and not a
device defect.
1. Remove the lid (
1
) from the milk container (
6
).
2. Place the stirring insert (
8
), if necessary with the ring for frothing, onto the magnetic pin on
the bottom of the milk container (see the “Preparation and Operation” chapter – “Stirring
Insert”).
3. Fill the milk container with the appropriate amount of milk depending on the programme.
When you do this, note the maximum
fi
ll levels (see the “Preparation and Operation”
chapter – “Markings in the Milk Container”).
