Introduction

Certification

Beckman Coulter Avanti J-26S XPI centrifuges are manufactured in a facility that maintains

certifications to both ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 13485:2003. They have been designed and tested to be

compliant (when used with Beckman Coulter rotors) with the laboratory equipment requirements

of applicable regulatory agencies. Declarations of conformity and certificates of compliance are

available at www.beckman.com.

Scope of Manual

This manual is designed to familiarize centrifuge users and site engineers with the Avanti J-26S XPI

centrifuge, its functions, specifications, operation, and routine care and maintenance.

Beckman Coulter recommends that you read this entire manual, especially the
