Music operations
Selecting music playback
The music player is called up from the
main menu or as described under "Play-
back of MP3 files during an active naviga-
tion" on page 81.
The devices described in this guide differ
in how the music player is selected via the
main menu.

Press the Music/Pictures button in the
main menu.
If the music player was last selected, this
will be called up again directly.
If the picture viewer was last selected, this
will be displayed. You can then switch to
the music player by pressing the
but-
ton.
The MP3-Player is called up and appears
with its main screen.
• If playback of a music track was stopped
previously, that last music track is dis-
played.
• If this is no longer available, the first
track on the memory card is displayed.
• If the memory card contains no tracks,
the
No music available
message ap-
pears.
The MP3 player
The MP3 files saved on a memory card
can be called up and played using the
MP3 player.
The MP3-Player is shown below along
with its standard display and a sample
track.
In the central area of the MP3 player, the
title of the currently loaded track with the
artist’s name and the number in the cur-
rent folder structure is shown in the title
line.

to find out how to save tracks to the in-
ternal memory or on to a memory card.
