Locate and mark timber wall studs behind furniture
and corresponding position on the furniture surface.
Position wall strap plates (screw holes facing down)
on the wall stud about 150 mm below furniture top,
then mark and drill pilot holes into wall surface,
ensuring adequate contact with the timber wall studs.
Attach wall strap plates to wall studs using 2 x
38mm screws and 1 x 58mm screw with washer.
3 pilot holes on each end of the product are already
pre-drilled.
Screw wall strap plates into solid timber area of
furniture using three 16 mm screws.
Slide furniture back into position and pull the wall
bracket straps until tight.
A minimum of two straps are used for each furniture piece using three screws per
bracket. Brackets must be fixed to wall studs.
