8  Operation Procedures 

 

8.1  Adding Water 

 

  Before first use, please read the Instruction Manual carefully. 

 

  Place the appliance on a level flat surface. 

 

  Ensure the power plug is disconnected from the power point. 

 

  Open the lid and fill to the “Max” mark with clean cold tap water. 

 

  Place the item to be cleaned into the tank. 

 

  Ensure the water does not rise above the “Max” mark.  If it  does, remove some of the 

water then close the lid 

 

 

Note

:  Do not overfill the tank. 

 

 

Do Not use the cleaner without water as this will damage the appliance. 

 

8.2  Enhanced Cleaning 

 

  If your articles are very dirty or smeared, add approximately 10 –  15ml  of dishwashing 

liquid to the water and mix in well.  This will help dissolve the dirt an degrease whilst 

cleaning. 

 

  In some cases such as cleaning Silver articles, the use of a Silver Cleaning agent in the 

water will be required as normal detergent will not work. 

 

Important

: Ensure you follow the cleaning instructions supplied with the cleaning agent 

carefully. 

 

8.3  Switching On 

 

  Plug in to the Power Point and switch on.  The Red Power Light will illuminate and the 

default time setting will be displayed as 300 seconds.
