CLEANING
Clean the unit regularly to avoid unnecessary and costly repairs. Clean the unit after 40 hours
of use or if it has not been used for a long period of time. The cleaning must be done in a well
ventilated room.
Make sure that the fluid tank is empty and fill it with 80% distilled water and 20% cleaning
vinegar. Switch the unit on and let it heat up. When it has reached temperature, keep the
button on the remote control pressed down in order to pump the fluid through the element.
Once the tank is empty, switch the unit off. Evacuate the fluid in the same way as the melt
water.
Now the unit is again ready for use. If you don’t use the unit immediately, don’t fill the tank.
