Adding T26 Validation
T26 validation is applicable in cases where a field’s value should not start or end with
a slash ‘/’ and not contain two consecutive slashes ‘//’.
1.
Add a new validation.
2.
Select ‘Type’ as ‘T26’ in the ‘Type’ column.
3.
The error code will be automatically set as ‘T26’. You need not change it.
4.
Specify the qualifiers, field options, null field and comment properties as specified
earlier.
5.

Adding T14 Validation
This validation is applicable for Amount\Rate\Balance\Number fields whose sign must
be present when their value is non-zero.
1.
Add a new validation.
2.
Select ‘Type’ as ‘T14’ in the ‘Type’ column.
3.
The error code will be automatically set as ‘T14’. You need not change it.
4.
Specify the qualifiers, field options, null field and comment properties as specified
earlier.
5.
From the Sign Field list-box displayed, select Sign.
