Indication Possible Reason Correct Method
The cuff is put on improperly.
Movement of arm/hand or
talking during measurement.
The cuff is not inflated to
necessary pressure.
Make sure that cuff is put
on correctly and repeat
measurement.
Repeat the measurement
with no movement and follow
recommendations in the
manual.
Repeat the measurement
with pumping cuff to higher
pressure.
The batteries are weak. Replace both batteries with
new ones.
