26. Please check the Balance Board before each ride. If
any parts are loose or damaged, or if there are any
other abnormal operating conditions, the Balance
Board must be put in order before it is operated.
27. However, there is always a risk of injury from a fall,
collision or loss of control.
28. Also keep in mind that the motor or battery can be
overloaded and cause „buckling“!
29. If unusual noises or an alarm from the vehicle occur
while driving, stop driving immediately.
RIDING THE BALANCE BOARD IS AT YOUR OWN RISK AND
RESPONSIBILITY.
NOT ALL HAZARDS THAT COULD LEAD TO INJURY OR EVEN
DEATH CAN BE COVERED IN THIS MANUAL.
3. NOTE ON DEEP DISCHARGE
ATTENTION!: Note on deep discharge of the battery
The life and performance of a battery depends on its age, care and how
often it has been used. Compared to other battery models, lithium-ion
batteries have a very low self-discharge rate and therefore need to be
charged periodically.
Even if you do not use your Balance Board, the battery must be charged
for at least 2 hours every 2 months, otherwise it will lose capacity. Regular
charging protects the battery from deep discharge.
Please note that a deeply discharged battery is irreparably damaged
and must be replaced at the customer‘s expense. For this reason, the
battery should never be completely discharged, even during
operation!
