ULT-2000 Series Quick Start Guide (SonoSite Ultrasound)

If using a soak tube* (pictured, left):
-
Insert the tip of the ULT-PC-30 Submersible Conductivity Probe to the bottom of the tube.

Fill the tube to an appropriate level with cleaning solution, saline, or water.

Place the transducer tip of the SonoSite Probe into the tube, and submerge to the 60cm mark
(minimum) as indicated on the probe shaft.
If using a soak tray (pictured, bottom-right):

Hang the ULT-PC-10 Conductivity Probe on the edge of the tray.

Fill the tray with cleaning solution, saline, or water until the Conductive Probe contacts are
sufficiently submerged (approximately 1 inch, or more).

Place the transducer tip of the SonoSite Probe into the tray, and submerge between 60cm and 90cm
as indicated on the probe shaft.
*If using an automated TEE Probe Disinfector see Appendices for details.
