For use only on GFCI protected circuits.
Use only three-wire outdoor extension cords 16 AWG or larger that have three-prong

WARNING: To reduce the risk of FIRE, ELECTRIC SHOCK OR INJURY TO
PERSONS:
Lighted lamp may become hot!
Light can be used indoor and outdoor.
Check that the sealed push button switch is in the off position before plugging in the
work light
Connect light to 120Volt, 60 Hz power source only.
Do not touch hot lens, or enclosure.
Do not remain in light if skin feels warm.
Do not look directly at lighted lamp, or direct the light at other persons.
Keep lamp away from fl ammable materials.
ASSEMBLY - PLEASE REFER TO THE ILLUSTRATIONS
SETTING UP THE WORK LIGHT
OPENING THE TRIPOD LEG SET
Fully unfold the Tripod Leg Set and slide the Center Collar down until it locks into
place.
WARNING: Do NOT attempt to use the Tripod Leg Set unless the legs are fully
extended and locked into place. This is the ONLY position that the leg set can
be used in.
CLOSING THE TRIPOD LEG SET
Press the RED Release Button on the side of the Center Collar and then raise the
Center Collar up until the Tripod Let Set is fully retracted.
ADJUSTING THE COLUMN SECTIONS
The tripod has two adjustable sections of the column that can be used to customize
the working height of the Work Light. Each section is locked into place by means of a
Cam Lock Lever. To adjust the height of either section, release the Cam Lock Lever
for that section, extend the column to the desired length and the re-lock the Cam Lock
Lever.
REMOVING THE CONVERTIBLE LIGHT HEAD FROM THE TRIPOD
The SL-1522 is designed so that the entire Light Head can be removed from the
tripod. To remove the Light Head, grasp the Padded Light Handle with one hand,
squeeze together the Light Head Release Clip Tabs and pull up on the Padded Light
Handle.
INSTALLING THE CONVERTIBLE LIGHT HEAD ON TO THE TRIPOD
CAUTION: Before installing the Light Head on to the Tripod, be certain that the

Using a #2 Phillips Screwdriver and the 2
included short screws, attach the Carry Handle to
the Light Stand.
CAUTION: Hand-tighten only. Do not overtighten
or use an electric or battery-powered Drill Driver.
Doing so may cause damage to the unit or the
screws.
INSTALLING THE LIGHT HEADS
Align the center hole in the bracket of each of
the Light Heads with the corresponding hole in the
Light Stand.
Using the included thumb screws, tighten until
fi nger tight. Do this for both Light Heads.
CAUTION: Do not use any tools to tighten the
thumb screw. Finger tight is all that is required.
Overtightening may cause damage to the unit.
INSTALLING THE “Y” SPLITTER
Using a #2 Phillips Screwdriver and the included
long screw, attach the “Y” Splitter on the Power
Cord to the back of the Carry Handle.
CAUTION: Hand-tighten only. Do not overtighten
or use an electric or battery-powered Drill Driver.
Doing so may cause damage to the unit or the
screw.
