b) This will release the second security measure now that the top bracket has been removed. The push on connector can be disengaged from the cut out and
reconnected to the return temperature sensor (
&
) (the appliance will not operate until this reconnection is made, Error 40 will show).
2. Refit the control tray, the bottom panel and the outercase before switching on the appliance.
3. Ensure that the filling loop is connected and open, then open the heating flow and return valves on the boiler.
4. The system must be flushed in accordance with BS 7593 (see
) and the flushing agent manufacturers instructions.
5. Pressurise the system to 1.5 bar then close and disconnect the filling loop.
6. Turn the gas supply on and purge the system according to in
GB BS 6891 (Natural Gas) BS 54821 (Propane Gas) and in
IE I.S. 813 "Domestic Gas Installations".
IMPORTANT : Lockout may occur and Error Codes E261 & E262 displayed if the gas supply pipe is not adequately purged.
7. Test for gas tightness.

11.3 Commissioning of Controls
Every time the appliance is powered up, the controls carries out 2 checking functions
a) 315: Initialization Main PCB gathers data on connections and sensors. This takes around 2 minutes.
b) 312: Deaeration Function all circulation valves are opened and the circulating pump is exercised. On for 6 seconds off for 5 seconds for 4.5 minutes. See
