Requirements of the personnel carrying out work
Qualified personnel is considered to be people whose training, experience and knowl-
edge of relevant standards and regulations, accident prevention regulations and condi-
tions in the plant has led to their being authorized by the plant safety manager to carry out
activities that are needed in each case while recognizing and avoiding any possible haz-
ards that might arise. The qualifications that are necessary for working with the unit in-
clude, for example:

Trained or instructed in accordance with recognized safety standards in the care and
use of appropriate safety equipment
