HOW TO COOK & REHEAT WITH MICROWAVES

Use this function

 for normal cooking and reheating, or quick reheating (Rapid Start) of

items such as clear soups, coffee, tea or other foods with high water content.

USER ACTION

OVEN REACTION

1. Press the Power

button to set the
power.

*  The power level is

displayed.

2. Turn the Adjust knob

to set the time.

*  The time is displayed.

3. Press the Start

button.

*  The Microwave working

symbol flashes.

*  The cooking time is

displayed counting down

Once the cooking process has been started:

The time can easily be increased in 30 second steps by pressing the Start button. Each
press increases the time with 30 seconds. You may also alter the time by turning the Adjust
knob to increase or decrease the time.
Pressing the power button may also change the power level. The first press will show you
the current powerlevel. Press the power button repeatedly to change power level.

If the weight is lesser or greater than
recommended weight:

Follow the procedure for “How to cook and
reheat with microwaves” and choose 160 W
when defrosting. When softening ice cream
or butter you should adjust the setting
to 90 W.

HOW TO USE THE RAPID DEFROST

Use this function for

 defrosting ONLY. Rapid Defrost can only be used for very fast

defrosting of frozen foods belonging to the 5 categories listed below.

1. Press the Rapid

Defrost button.

*  The display now shows

weight in grams (gr.) and
the first of the five food
classes is indicated.

2. Continue to press

the Rapid Defrost
button to select food
class.

*  The selected food class

is indicated.

3. Press the Weight

buttons to set the
weight.

*  The set weight is

displayed.

4. Press the Start

button.

*  The defrosting process

begins.

*  The Microwave working

symbol flashes.

*  The defrosting time is

displayed counting down.

The oven needs

 to know the type of food

and the net weight of it.

5. Midway thru the

defrosting process
the oven stops and
prompts you to
“TURN FOOD”.

— Don’t use the stop button!
— Just open the door and

turn the food.

— Close, and restart with

the Rapid Start button.

Note:

 the oven continues automatically after 2 min if the food hasn’t been turned. The

defrosting time will be longer in this case.

If the food is warmer than deep-freeze
temperature

 (-18°C), choose lower weight

of the food.

If the food is colder than deep-freeze
temperature 

(-18°C), choose higher weight

of the food.
