To display the amount of charger left in the battery, press the charge level indicator
button.

NOTE: Displayed levels may slightly differ from the actual levels, depending on the
conditions of use and the environment temperature.
The tool has a tool/battery protection system.
This system automatically cuts the current flow to the engine, to increase the useful life
of the tool and the battery. The tool turns off automatically if the tool or the battery have
the following conditions:
Battery charge indicator
If the tool generates excessively high current, it will stop automatically and the main
indicator light will start to flash. In this case, turn the tool off and correct the cause of
the surge. Then, turn the tool on and resume operations.
Protection against surges
In case of overheating, the tool will stop automatically and the capacity indicator light
will start to flash, as shown in the figure. If this occurs, let the machine cool down and
then turn it on again.
Protection against overheating
If the battery is low, the tool will stop automatically. If the tool does not start, even if the
switches are in the on position, remove the battery and charge it.
Protection against overdischarge
PRECAUTIONS:
Always unplug the tool before installing or removing the battery pack.
Hold the tool and the battery pack firmly when installing or removing it. Failure to do this
may cause the tool to slip into the user’s hands, which can cause property damage or
bodily injury.
To remove the battery, slide it while turning the button at the front of the compartment.
To install the battery, align the tab on the battery pack and the slot in the case, and slide
it into the correct position. Insert the battery completely until it clicks.
