General Information and Safety Instructions
Read this manual thoroughly before first use and keep it in a safe place for future
reference, along with the completed warranty card, purchase receipt and carton.
The safety precautions enclosed herein reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and
injury when correctly adhered to.
Always follow basic safety precautions and accident prevention measures when
installing and using electrical equipment, including the following:
• Correct voltage: Make sure your local outlet voltage and circuit frequency
correspond to the voltage indicated on the rating label of the AC adaptor.
• Safe connection: Insert the adaptor plug firmly into a properly earthed mains
socket. Do not alter the plug.
• Protect from moisture: To protect against electric shock, do not immerse
the cord or plug in water or other liquid. Ensure your hands are dry before
installation and before handling the plug.
• Protect the adaptor power cord: Do not kink or damage the power cord.
Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.
• Usage restrictions: This appliance is not intended for use by persons
(including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or
lack of experience and knowledge unless they have been given supervision
or instructions concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for
their safety.
• Children: Supervise young children to ensure they do not play with the
antenna.
• Damage: Check the adaptor and cords regularly for visible damage. Do
not use it if the cord is damaged. A damaged cord must be replaced by the
manufacturer, an authorised service centre or similarly qualified personnel
in order to avoid any hazards.

• Thunderstorms: Stop using this antenna and turn off the power during
thunderstorms.
• After use: Turn off the power when the antenna is not in use.
• Poor reception: If reception is poor, try changing the position of the antenna.
• Position: Do not place the antenna near large metal objects or appliances that
could create interference.
• Liability: We accept no liability for any eventual damages or injury caused by
noncompliance with these instructions.
