Powering On/Off
•
Power-on:
Press and hold the ON/OFF button for about 3 seconds; the
screen will start up and the camera will enter standby mode.
•
Power-off:
While the camera is in an idle state, press and hold the ON/
OFF button for 3 seconds to turn the camera off.
•
Automatic power-off:
When the camera has been idle for a certain
amount of time, it will switch off automatically to save power. The idle time
can be set to your preference.
•
Power-off due to low battery:
If the camera’s battery power has dropped
to extremely low levels, the
icon will appear on the LCD screen and
you will have to recharge the battery. When the icon turns red and flashes,
the camera will automatically power off.
Selecting a Mode
The camera is equipped with four modes: Recording, Photo, Movement and
Playback. After turning on the camera, use the Mode button to select the
appropriate mode for your intended use.
•
Recording mode:
Record videos.
•
Photo mode:
Take photos.
•
Movement mode:
Record videos of fast or high amounts of movement.
•
Playback mode:
View and play all recorded video and photos stored on
the SD Card.
TIP:
If you have changed some settings and find that the camera is not
working as it should, you can reset the camera to its original factory settings.
