STEP 1 – ATTACH YOUR ROWING SHOES

Attach your rowing shoes +/- CustomPack to the ShoePlate Tops, using

your current screws or the 8 T-head screws (F) in the screw bag with

the red zip. Do not ever use counter sunk screws to fit the shoe to your

ShoePlates. The counter sunk screws supplied (C/D) are used to fit the

BasePlates to your boat foot stretcher. Tighten screws in a diagonal

pattern (i.e. top right to bottom left and then bottom right to top left).

STEP 3 – ENGAGE YOUR SHOEPLATE TOPS INTO THE BASEPLATE

Line up the ShoePlate Top with the front tab of the BasePlate and place it on top. Slide the ShoePlate Top upwards to engage into the BasePlate,

you should hear a click. Once engaged you should check the ShoePlate Top’s tab is fully depressed by pushing down on it. This ensures a proper

locked fitment. Clip on or tie on your FISA approved heel restraints. Repeat for each ShoePlate.

Pull up on the release tab located at the

toe of the ShoePlate Top to unlock it, slide

the ShoePlate Top downwards to disengage

from the BasePlate. You can now clip off or

untie your heel restraints.

STEP 4 – TO RELEASE

STEP 2 – ATTACH THE BASEPLATE

Remove the boat foot stretcher. Place 1 x nut (E) in one of the 4 hexagonal cavities on the top of the BasePlate. Screw the BasePlate to the foot stretcher

using either screws (C) or (D) depending on the thickness of your foot stretcher. You will need to hold the nut as you screw the screw in (as shown).

Repeat this for all nuts (E) and screws (C) or (D). You will need 4 screws only for each side (leaving you with 8 unused screws C or D).

The QuickRelease System can

be attached to a steering plate

like a regular shoe. Simply fit the

BasePlates to the steering plate/disc

with the same instructions as above.

STEERING FOOT ATTACHMENT

Do not overtighten – hand tight only if using a screw driver, if using a drill, 5Nm max torque.

Ensure all screws are

evenly tightened.
