Select a comm port (like Comm 1 in Figure 6-3) and Initialize it. This opens the communication port and
returns the current settings from the BE3-GPR unit. You do not have to select the communication protocol
parameters because the software application program does that for you. Figure 6-4 is a sample of the
screen showing the settings returned from the BE3-GPR unit.
