Frequency Response
A change of

5 Hz from the nominal 50/60 Hz current causes <0.5% change in the current required for
pickup.
Transient Response
<10% overreach with system time constants up to 40 ms.
Harmonic Response
Figure 1-4 illustrates harmonic rejection and shows that a relay with a 1 ampere pickup setting would pick
up at 0.96 amperes when the current contains 40 percent seventh harmonic. This corresponds to a 10:1
rejection ratio. Other conditions may be evaluated in the same manner.
