
• Never use the product immediately after it has been brought from a cold room
into a warm one. The condensation generated could destroy the product. The
plug-in power supply unit also involves danger to life by electric shock! Allow the
device to reach room temperature before connecting and using it. This may take
several hours.
• Connect the appliance to a wall socket that can be accessed easily.
• Never leave the product and the connected device unattended during use.
• Only connect the power adapter to a normal mains socket connected to the public
supply. Before plugging in the power adapter, check whether the voltage stated on
the power adapter complies with the voltage of your electricity supplier.
• Never connect or disconnect power adapters if your hands are wet.
• For safety reasons, disconnect the power adapter from the mains socket during
storms.
• Consult an expert when in doubt about operation, safety or connection of the
device.
• Maintenance, modifications and repairs are to be performed exclusively by an
expert or at a qualified shop.
• If you have questions which remain unanswered by these operating instructions,
contact our technical support service or other technical personnel.
Operation
Always turn off the desired device before connecting it to the USB port.
Make sure the connection is correct. If the product is not connected properly,
it could overheat or cause an electric shock or fire.
Make sure that the device meets the product‘s power requirements (see
technical data).
• Connect the turned-off USB device to the product.
• Connect the product to a common household power outlet. The LED ring on the USB
connection lights up to indicate that the product is ready for use.
• Your USB device is now charging. Should you wish to operate the USB device, you may
turn it on now.
• Turn off the USB device before disconnecting the product from the power outlet.
• Unplug the product after use.
Cleaning
Disconnect the product from the power outlet before cleaning. Clean the product with a dry,
fiber-free cloth.
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the
household waste.
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant
statutory regulations.
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the
environment.

Intended use
The product is designed to charge and operate a suitable USB device. Power is supplied via
a normal household power outlet. The product features overload and short circuit protection
mechanisms.
It is intended for indoor use only. Do not use it outdoors. Contact with moisture, e.g. in
bathrooms, must be avoided under all circumstances.
For safety and approval purposes (CE), you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. If you
use the product for purposes other than those described above, the product may be damaged.
In addition, improper use can cause hazards such as short circuiting, fire, electric shock etc.
