8. Operation
a) Connecting Charger to Power Supply

If both power inputs are connected at the same time,
the AC input (7) will work and the DC input (8) will not
work.
The device was constructed according to protection
class II. Only a proper mains socket (100-240 V/AC
50/60 Hz) of the public supply net must be used as
voltage source.
• Connect one end of the supplied AC cable to the charger
input: 100 - 240 V/AC (7).
• Connect the other end to a suitable power supply.
• The charger will perform a self test. When the screen goes
blank it is ready for charging.
b) Charging Batteries
The charger is compatible with the following rechargeable battery
types:
• Ni-MH/Ni-Cd: AA and AAA.
• Ni-MH: 9-volt
The device will automatically stop charging when the
battery is full.
