Connection and operation
• Connect the mouse‘s USB plug to a free USB port on your computer (your computer need
not be turned off for this step).
• The operating system recognizes new hardware and installs the necessary drivers auto-
matically; they are part of the operating system.

Place the mouse on a flat, even surface of sufficient size.
The USB mouse‘s optical movement detection will not work on all surfaces. No
operation is possible on reflective surfaces or glass. If you experience any difficulty
moving the mouse pointer, use a suitable mouse pad.
If after an extended period of disuse the mouse pointer can no longer be moved
correctly, check the sensor beneath the mouse to see if it is dirty.
Clean it by blowing on it briefly or use a soft, clean brush.
• Do not let the mouse cable rub on sharp corners. Do not bend it.
• Some settings such as mouse pointer speed can be made directly in your operating system
settings.
Care and cleaning
• The product is maintenance-free, do not dismantle it.
• Clean the exterior of the product using a clean, soft, dry cloth only. To remove tougher
stains, slightly dampen the cloth with water or use a suitable plastic cleaner. Do not use
any aggressive cleaning agents or chemical solutions as these may damage the housing
causing discoloration and/or malfunction.
• Use a soft, clean brush to remove dust from the sensor beneath the mouse from time to
time.
• The glide surfaces beneath the mouse may collect dirt over time, making the mouse harder
to move across surfaces. Thoroughly clean the glide surfaces.
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the house
-
hold waste. At the end of its service life, dispose of the product in accordance with
applicable regulatory guidelines.
