The vibration level according to these instructions has been determined according to a measuring method
standardised in EN62841 and can be used for comparison of power tools. It is also used for preliminary
assessment of the vibration stress.
The vibration level indicated represents the main applications of the power tool. However, if the power tool
is used for any other applications with deviating insertion tools or insufficient maintenance, the vibration
level may deviate. This may clearly increase the vibration level across the entire work period.
For precise estimation of the vibration level, those times in which the device is switched off or running but
not actually used should be considered as well. This may clearly reduce the vibration level across the entire
work period.
Specify additional safety measures to protect the operator from the effect of vibrations, such as: Mainte-
nance of power tools and insertion tools, keeping the hands warm, organisation of work processes.
