Operation

a)  Inserting batteries

•  Move the lighting unit (1) out of the handle (4) by at least 90°. Use sufficient force to push against the resistance of

the integrated rotary switch. The switch should click twice until the battery compartment cover (8) is fully exposed.

Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the device.

•  Insert three 1.5 V AAA batteries (not included) with correct polarity into the battery compartment (observe plus/+

and minus/-). After inserting the batteries, the 15 LEDs on the light unit will turn on.

•  Replace the battery compartment cover.

b)  Using the light

•  The light can be turned on/off using the rotary switch (6). Move the lighting unit (1) out of the handle (4) to turn on

the LEDs. Push the lighting unit back into the handle to turn it off.

•  The flashlight LED (5) can be operated using the

button (7). Keep the button pressed down to keep the LED

on. Take your finger off the button to turn the LED off. The flashlight is located behind the rotary switch but is not

visible in the product image.

•  The LED working light can be held using the handle or by holding the main unit. The wrist strap (3) can be used to

hang the light from the user's wrist or from other suitable locations.

•  The magnet (2) on the handle can be used to secure the LED working light to ferromagnetic surfaces, e.g. steel.

The magnet attached to the bottom of the handle holds the light in position.

Maintenance and cleaning

Never use aggressive and abrasive detergents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions,

as these could damage the casing or even impair the functioning of the product.

•  The product does not require maintenance except for changing the batteries. Leave maintenance or repair work to

an expert. The LED light bulbs are firmly embedded and cannot be replaced.

•  You can use a clean, soft and dry cloth to clean the product. Dust can be easily removed using a clean and soft

brush and a vacuum cleaner.

Disposal

a)  Product

Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the household waste.
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant statutory regulations.
Remove any inserted batteries and dispose of them separately from the product.

b)  Batteries

You as the end user are required by law (Battery Directive) to return all used batteries. Disposing of them in the

household waste is prohibited.

Batteries containing hazardous substances are labelled with this symbol to indicate that disposal in the

domestic waste is forbidden. The designations for the heavy metals involved are: Cd = Cadmium, Hg =

Mercury, Pb = Lead (shown on batteries, e.g. below the trash icon on the left).
Used batteries can be returned to collection points in your municipality, our stores or wherever batteries

are sold.

You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.

Safety instructions

Read the operating instructions carefully and especially observe the safety information. If you

do not follow the safety instructions and information on proper handling in this manual, we

assume no liability for any resulting personal injury or damage to property. Such cases will

invalidate the warranty/guarantee.
•  The device is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
•  Do  not  leave  packaging  material  lying  around  carelessly.  This  may  become  dangerous  playing

material for children.

•  Protect the product from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, strong jolts, high humidity, moisture,

flammable gases, vapours and solvents.

•  Do not place the product under any mechanical stress.
•  If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, take it out of operation and protect it from any

accidental use. Safe operation can no longer be guaranteed if the product:

 - is visibly damaged,
 - is no longer working properly,
 - has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or
 - has been subjected to any serious transport-related stresses.

•  Please handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a low height can damage

the product.

•  Attention, LED light: Do not look directly into the LED light! Do not look into the beam directly or with

optical instruments!

•  Do not use the product in rooms or in adverse environmental conditions that contain or may contain

flammable gases, vapours or dust! There is a risk of explosion!

•  Never cover the product. The surface gets hot; covering the product not only constitutes a fire hazard

but may also cause it to overheat, damaging the product.

•  Only secure the product to metal surfaces that do not carry a voltage.
•  Correct polarity must be observed while inserting the batteries.
•  Batteries should be removed from the device if it is not used for a long period of time to avoid damage

through leaking. Leaking or damaged batteries might cause acid burns when in contact with skin,

therefore use suitable protective gloves to handle corrupted batteries.

•  Batteries must be kept out of reach of children. Do not leave batteries lying around, as there is a risk

that children or pets may swallow them.

•  All batteries should be replaced at the same time. Mixing old and new batteries in the device can lead

to battery leakage and device damage.

•  Batteries  must  not  be  dismantled,  short-circuited  or  thrown  into  fire.  Never  recharge  non-

rechargeable batteries. There is a risk of explosion!

•  Consult an expert when in doubt about operation, safety or connection of the device.
•  Maintenance, modifications and repairs are to be performed exclusively by an expert or at a qualified

shop.

•  If  you  have  questions  which  remain  unanswered  by  these  operating  instructions,  contact  our
