Important tips for optimal toast result
•
The toast result depends in case of the same setting of the browning level on the
different characteristics of bread (moisture content, type of bread, the size
and thickness of the slices).
•
Set a lower browning level for dry bread, smaller and thinner slices, in case of
toasting of only one slice of bread.
•
Toasting of thick slices of bread requires more time for toasting, set a higher level
of browning or conduct 2 toasting operations.
•
The cut surface of the bread should be as smooth as possible in order to achieve a
uniform toast result. Remove loose crumbs or protruding bread components (e.g.
grains or raisins) before toasting because they can burn.
•
Bread with an irregular surface requires a higher level of browning.
•
In order to achieve better toasting results, toast only one type of bread at the same
time in the respective pair of toast slots.
•
Take into account that during several operations one after another the toaster
becomes hot and the toast slices become darker accordingly. Select possibly a lower
degree of browning between the toast processes.
•
The level of browning can be changed according to the desire during the toasting
process through turning the browning regulator.
Toasting
•
During the first use a light smoke resulting from the production residues can occur.
This is not a defect. Use the device during the first switching on without the toast bread
and set the middle level of browning. Make sure that there is sufficient ventilation in the
place of installation of the appliance.
•
Connect the device to the single grounded socket.
•
The 4-slice toaster 100202 has separate operating elements for each 2 toast slots.
•
The following operating steps apply to both Toast slot pairs.
•
Please set the desired browning stage (1 - 7).
•
To obtain more intensive browning turn the adjustment knob clockwise, and to obtain
less intensive browning turn the adjustment knob counterclockwise.
NOTE!
In case of 4-toast models make sure that both knobs are properly set for
uniform preparation of various types of toasts or when different browning
levels are required.
