6. Cleaning
WARNING!
Before cleaning set the temperature controller to “0”, turn the device off with use
of ON/OFF switch and disconnect it from the power supply (pull the plug!).
Let the device cool down.
The device is not suited for direct washing with water.
Therefore, do not use any kind of pressure water jet for cleaning the device!
Make sure that no water gets into the device.
CAUTION!
Never use abrasive cleaning agents or scouring materials which may damage
the surface of the deep fat fryer.

Clean the device regularly.
o
Remove the frying basket from the oil chamber.
o
After cooling down disconnect the fuse box with the heating element from the device
by lifting it above the oil chamber. Then the heater and the fuse box may be easily
cleaned.
o
Clean the fuse box and the heating element with soft, moistened cloth and gentle
cleaning agent.
CAUTION!
Do not wash the fuse box (control panel) with excess amounts of water
and do not submerge. Moisture must not penetrate inside.

After cooling down remove the chamber with frying oil and pour oil to the container.
Follow instructions in section “Replacement and removal of frying oil”
on page 33.

Wash the frying basket, oil chamber and lid in warm water with gentle washing agent.
Stubborn dirt may be spot soaked in order to remove.
o
Wipe the control panel, external surfaces of the device and the power cord with a
moist cloth and gentle cleaning agent. Moisture must not penetrate the fuse box.
It may cause occurrence of dangerous stray currents and operation anomalies.
o
Thoroughly dry all elements of the device before remounting them! Reassemble
the device.
