Overheating Protection
The appliance is equipped with
overheating protection
. When the critical
temperature is exceeded, the appliance will switch off for safety reasons.
ATTENTION:
Heating up an empty pot or frying pan activates the overheating protection
system; an audio signal sounds and the appliance turns off.
The digital display shows 'E2'.
Never
place empty cookware on the hob.
When overheating protection is activated and the 'E2' error message is
displayed, remove cookware from the hob and leave the appliance for a few
minutes to cool down.
Then, you may start using the appliance again.
