Lock Button (Child Safety Lock)
1. After setting the power level, the lock button
may be pressed to interlock the
selected function.
Child safety lock LED indicator light goes on.
The appliance will not respond if in this state any other button is pressed (except for
the ON/OFF button).
2. To unlock the control panel buttons, press the lock button
again, and hold it
until a sound signal is issued.
Child safety lock LED indicator light goes off.
All buttons operate as usual again.
Switching the Appliance Off
1. When the process of cooking or maintaining food warm is finished, switch the
appliance off with ON/OFF button.

NOTE!
The induction cooker switches off automatically if no setting is entered
within 2 hours.
After switching the appliance off, the fan operates for approx. 1 minute to cool down
the electronics; afterwards, it switches off.
2. Disconnect the appliance from mains power supply if it is not used any more.
Overheating Protection
The appliance is equipped with overheating protection. When the critical
temperature is exceeded, the appliance will switch off for safety reasons.
ATTENTION!
Heating up an empty pan or frying pan activates the overheating
protection system; a sound signal will sound and the appliance will switch
off.
The digital display shows 'E2'.
Never place empty cookware on the hob.
When overheating protection is activated, remove cookware from the hob and
leave the appliance for a few minutes to cool down.
Then, you may start using the appliance again.
