6. Cleaning
WARNING!
Before cleaning, switch the device off by pressing ON/OFF
switch, disconnect it from the power supply (unplug!).
Wait for the device to cool down.
Never use a high pressure washer to clean the device.
Protect the device from the water penetration.
CAUTION
Never use aggressive cleaning agents, such as scouring powders, alcohol-
based substances, or solvents which may damage the surfaces of the device.

Clean the device regularly at the end of the working day, also in the meantime if
necessary, or when the device is not to be used for longer time.
o
Open the lifting door and remove the GN containers with food from the hot display
unit. The food should be stored in a refrigerator to prevent it from getting spoiled.
o
The front pane and frame should be cleaned thoroughly from inside with a soft, moist
cloth. Clean with clear water, and then dry the front pane.
o
Clean the practical surface for GN containers with a soft, moist cloth. Make sure that
no liquids get to the ventilation slots located in the bottom. Dry all cleaned surfaces
thoroughly.

Close the lifting door and clean the front pane with the frame from outside, as well as
the body, with warm water, a mild cleaning agent and soft cloth. Finally, dry the
cleaned surfaces with a soft cloth.
o
Clean the used GN containers and bars thoroughly with a soft cloth and a mild
cleaning agent, and finally dry them thoroughly.
