Cleaning and Maintenance
7.1
Safety Instructions for Cleaning
• Close the gas supply valve before cleaning.
• Leave the appliance to cool down completely.
• Do not clean the appliance with a pressurized water jet.
• Do not use any sharp or pointed, nor metal implements (knife, fork, etc.). Sharp
or pointed objects may damage the appliance.
• For cleaning, do not use any scouring agents that contain solvents nor corrosive
cleaning agents. They may damage the surface.
7.2
Cleaning
Gas Hob
1. Clean the appliance regularly at the end of each working day, and, if necessary,
also in the meantime or when the appliance is not to be used for a longer time.
2. Remove cast-iron grates and gas burners guards.
3. Clean the hob and housing using a soft cloth or sponge soaked in warm water.
Use neutral cleaning agent when required.
4. Use a clean cloth to wipe the hob and housing, and dry the cleaned surfaces
thoroughly.
5. Clean cast-iron grates and gas burner guards with a neutral washing agent and
a soft cloth or sponge. To end with, rinse them thoroughly in fresh water and
dry.
6. After cleaning, re-fit gas burner guards and cast-iron grates correctly.
