Descaling
CAUTION!
Complaints will not be taken into consideration when the device
is not periodically descaled according to the instructions.
Such complaints are no cases of warranty!
Descale the device regularly!
o
Inappropriate water may lead to scale deposit in the water tank. This results in longer
heating time and might damage the device. To reduce scaling it is recommended
to use filtered water when possible!
o
We recommend ecological descaling with use of vinegar or citric acid.
Prepare
water and vinegar solution
(ratio
3:1) or
water and citric acid
solution
(2 tablespoons per 1 l
of water) and pour it into the tank. Wait some
time (approx. 1 hour) and boil the solution.

Allow it to cool down.
o
After cooling down drain the descaling solution and rinse the tank with clean water
for a few times. To remove the descaling solution completely, drain some water
through the drain tap.

When using other commercial descalers follow the manufacturer's instructions.
Storage
o
If the device is not used for any lengthy period, clean it according to the aforemen-
tioned description and store it in dry, clean place protected against cold, sun and
children. Do not place any have objects on the device.
