Power supply connection 

•  Verify if technical data of the appliance (see rating plate) correspond with the 

local electric power grid specification. 

•  Connect the appliance to a single, properly grounded mains socket with 

protective contact. Do not connect the appliance to a multi-socket. 

•  The power cord should be laid in a way preventing anyone from threading on it 

or tripping against it.

Ins ert t he  bott om c over  int o  the  applianc e.  The c over  acts  as  a spac er  bet ween t he heating  element  and l ef t-over f ood  tray.

Caref ull y i nser t t he c onnection  box  wit h  the  heati ng  element at t he  bac k  edge of t he  applianc e.  A  pin in  bott om  par t of t he c onnecti on box  must  ent er  a  hol e i n t he  mai n  applianc e.  This   way t he connec tion  box is  properly  mount ed.    

 

Preparation of the Appliance 

1.  Prior to operation, clean the appliance and its equipment inside and outside 

according to instructions in section 

'Cleaning'

2.  Dry all washed elements and surfaces thoroughly. 

3.  Insert the drip tray at the bottom of the thermal processing chamber. 

The removable drip tray is intended for collection of dripping liquids and should be 
inserted with every use. This greatly facilitates cleaning of the appliance. 
 

Preparation of Food Products 

1.  Prepare fruit, vegetables, herbs, etc. 

2.  Wash the selected food products thoroughly. 

3.  Slice the products. 

4.  Put the prepared products on the dehydration grates. 

 

Placing Products in the Appliance 

1.  Slide the dehydration grates in the guide rails of the appliance. 

2.  Close the appliance door. 

Door is locked with a simple interlock. The door seals the thermal processing 
chamber but not entirely. Through the opening in the door, humidity is driven out of 
the thermal processing chamber.
