Intended use 

The hand-held scanners in the BCS 3600

ex

 series are used for the mobile capture, processing and transfer of data 

within potentially explosive atmospheres.  The data are transferred either using a connection cable (BCS 3608

ex

) or 

using a Bluetooth connection (BCS 3678

ex

).  The hand-held scanners in the BCS 3600

ex 

series have been modified 

for use in the following potentially explosive atmospheres:

The hand-held scanners may only be used together with operating equipment that corresponds to Installation 
Category I. 
You must comply with the permissible ambient conditions for the device used (see User Manual).
