MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS

- Be aware of the load bearing. Failure to do so can result in

personal injury and/or damage to property.

- Barska recommends that this safe be anchored to the wall.

- Your safe must be shimmed level to assure proper lock functions

and to keep the door from swinging open too quickly or closing

  by itself.

- To avoid rust on the safe, never set the safe directly on a cement

floor. We recommend a spacer be placed between the safe and

  the cement.

- Exposure to chemicals or other adverse environments may cause

  the warranty to become invalid.

- The safe is designed to support itself when the doors is

opened. However caution should be used to avoid pulling it

over. To maximize security and stability, bolting the safe to the

  floor is recommended.

- Measure the location of the pre-set drill holes; mark their

  exact position onto the wall

- This safe comes with 2 pre drill holes measuring 3/8” Diameter,

located at the back of the safe. You will need to drill the mounting

  screws through the interior carpet.

- Use proper drill tools depending on the type of surface you are

mounting the safe (wood, tile, or concrete)

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

Your safe is built to last. However, please understand that the

locking mechanism has some precisions parts. If you

experience ANY difficult opening or closing your safe, DO

NOT FORCE THE HANDLE, call 888.666.6769 for technical

support. If the handle is forced or ABUSED, it may jam the

components in the lock, which will require a safe technician

to unlock your safe. This causes an inconvenience for both

the owner and Barska and may lead to claim denials.

- Keep liquids away from the keypad. Spills on the keypad will

cause damage and possibly electric shock.

- If necessary use a damp cloth to clean the safe. DO NOT use

  chemicals or cleaning agents.

- Secure safe in a proper area to prevent it from falling and

  causing damage or injury.

- The mechanism inside the door and the hinges are

permanently lubricated, this needing no maintenance.

Occasionally it may be necessary to lubricate the door bolts.

To do so, extend the door bolts completely with the door

open. Wipe a small amount of oil around each bolt.

- DO NOT over stuff the contents of the safe, it can damage

the motor mechanism or the contents.

- DO NOT disassemble the product. For all repairs and

  maintenance, contact BARSKA Customer Service

  888.666.6769 for technical support.
