Noise Blanker

This menu item allows the predictive noise blanker to be switched on or off. The

noise blanker is useful to reduce the interference caused within vehicles with petrol

engines.

Note:-

The noise blanker will not be effective in situations where external power line

noise etc is blanketing the receiver.

Use the

to select the setting required (example

shown “On”):-

In certain situations noise blankers can cause Intermodulation in receivers,

in these cases the noise blanker should be disabled.
