Use the height of cut adjusting nut to
change the front roller to the desired
setting.
Note: turning the adjuster nut
clockwise will increase the height of
cut and turning it anti-clockwise will
decrease the height of cut.
Adjust the front roller either up or
down using the previously mentioned
adjuster nuts until the underside of
the adjuster screw slides snuggly (not
too tight and not too loose) over the
upper surface of the bedknife with
the ends of the setting bar touching
both the front and rear rollers.
Adjust both sides of the front roller
until both sides are adjusted
correctly. This procedure might have
to be repeated several times until the
adjustment is just right.
Once the desired settings is achieved,
tighten the front roller bracket locking
nuts using a 13mm spanner.
Recheck the height of cut setting after
the locking nuts have been tightened
in case the setting moved, in which
case re-adjust as necessary.
